TIX on the square adds a small fee to the price of event tickets. This fee covers the operating costs of this web site and the TIX box office.
We’re back! And this time with no fewer than nine plays, eight of which are brand new works! As usual, the range of this year’s regional one-act festival is remarkably wide—comedy, drama, and everything between, some of which truly push the bounds of traditional theatre.
The new works include Guy versus Gayle: A Modern Romance by Michele Vance Hehir, Legion Blues by Michael Beamish, Ravenous by Gerald Osborn, Frank and Shelly: A Destructive Musical by Chad Carlson, Before I Met Tatenda by Jacqueline Lamb, Tara Redux by Phil Kreisel, Army Brats by Barbara North, and From Something by Kristen Finlay. The two-day festival also includes Elaine May’s Off-Broadway comedy hit, The Way of All Fish.
All plays are professionally adjudicated, with the winning production to represent the Edmonton Region at the 2010 Provincial Festival at Whitecourt in May. Stage Struck! offers you an opportunity to support local artists, hear public adjudications of their work, and marvel at the incredible creative talent that our city boasts. It’s a live theatre event you won’t want to miss! Save by buying a festival pass!
Friday February 26th at 7pm, Saturday February 27th at 1pm and at 7pm. Purchase one session for Adults $12 and Students and Seniors(60+) $10 or get all three sessions with the Festival Pass $28 Adults and $24 for Students and Seniors(60+).
