TIX on the square adds a small fee to the price of event tickets. This fee covers the operating costs of this web site and the TIX box office.
The Richard Eaton Singers hosts The Vancouver Chamber Choir under the direction of Jon Washburn in a concert of works including the music of Heinrich Schutz, Antonin Dvorak, Charles Villiers Stanford and Jon Washburn himself.
Also featured in this concert is the premiere of "A Song of the Seasons", a work commissioned to honour Leonard Razlaff's 25th anniversary as director of the RES. This new work was composed by noted Canadian composer Ruth Watson Henderson with text written by E.D. Blodgett (former Edmonton Poet Laureate and former member of the Richard Eaton Singers). This piece explores in four movements the unique colours and emotions associated with each of the four seasons.
