After the smash hit of last year’s More Peas, Please, they’re back with the sixth anniversary edition – now in a new location: Catalyst Theatre. Come enjoy a freewheeling cabaret with melodious and clever highlights of familiar and obscure musical theatre featuring Judy McFerran, Timothy J. Anderson, and Sally Hunt.
Sally is the Littlest Pea, and over-compensates for lack of height by wearing spectacular shoes.
The evening will include music by “B” composers: Jacques Brel, Leonard Bernstein, Jason Robert Brown, and Irving Berlin. We have an irreverent selection from other composers in the alphabet too. Some songs are old favourites from shows like Guys and Dolls and Chicago while others are fresh from more recent shows such as the Canadian musicals Notre Dame de Paris and Napoleon.
The setting is intimate, the music is divine, and a cash bar helps make April even warmer.
