UofA Studio Theatre is delighted to have our own Brian Deedrick, Edmonton Opera’s passionate artistic director, return to his alma matter as the 2011 Mary Mooney Distinguished Visiting Artist.
Meet Nicholas Nickleby – a feisty young man who devotes himself to supporting his family after his father dies leaving them penniless.
Deedrick hand-picked this epic social satire for its grand scale and is enthusiastic about the play’s great opportunities for the graduating acting company. Together they will create an entire world of Dickens’ vibrant characters.
