Scholarship Opportunities for Good Women Dance Collective's 2024/25 Season

We’re offering three scholarship opportunities for our 2024/2025 season. Scholarship recipients will have access to Good Women classes for free from either September-December 2024, January-April 2025, or May-August 2025. Applications are open until June 14.

Calls to artists

Alberta Artist in Residence/Arts Ambassador

Alberta-based artists are encouraged to apply to be the next Artist in Residence/​Arts Ambassador. Artists of all disciplines have until June 10 to submit their applications. 

Through the Artist in Residence program, Alberta’s Government provides one artist with a grant of up to $50,000 to serve as Alberta’s Arts Ambassador for a one-year term and create an art project that promotes the value of the arts in Alberta.

Calls to artists

Call to Indigenous Artists: Hide Tanning and Parfleche Residency

This three-week visual arts residency at the Banff Centre allows participants to learn more about how to scrape a hide and work with parfleche with the support of faculty, elders and knowledge keepers. Apply by June 26.
