Albert the bat is afraid of...well, everything! He stays home each night, quietly secluded and safe, taking care of his baby sister Ava while his parents go out to gather food. Tonight, however, everything is going to change when Ava learns to fly and gets lost in a nearby graveyard. Now It’s fright-or-flight as Albert must head out and retrieve his baby sister before his parents get home. A cast of delightfully spooky characters guide Albert as he embarks on an exciting, fear-conquering adventure where he must ultimately face his darkest fear to bring his baby sister home safely.
Albert’s Afraid is a half hour original black light puppet performance, written by Brendan James Boyd and Lisa Ruelling with music and lyrics by Michael Gordon.
