The Alberta Baroque Ensemble is pleased to present clarinetist James Campbell at its March 14, 2010 concert. Called by the Toronto Star "Canada's pre-eminent clarinetist and wind soloist,” James Campbell has performed in most of the world's major concert halls and with over 50 orchestras including the London Symphony, Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and the Russian Philharmonic.
The Alberta Baroque Ensemble is also pleased to present Megan Chartrand, soprano, at the same concert. Ms. Chartrand is the most recent recipient of the Alberta Baroque Ensemble Scholarship at the University of Alberta.
The Alberta Baroque Ensemble, under the direction of Artistic Director Paul Schieman, is one of Canada’s leading professional chamber orchestras that performs music from the 17th and 18th centuries.
