Ever since he first stepped on stage in the early 1600s, the character of Don Juan has haunted us. Is he a sensitive lover endowed with amazing lovemaking powers, or a randy seducer who abandons his lovers in the morning? In The Erotic Anguish of Don Juan, the infamous lover’s ghost is summoned from hell to tell his life story but he has a secret agenda: to convince the audience to join him in his crusade for free love and cosmic orgies.
