Friday events at John L Haar Theatre Saturday luncheon speaker and Wrap-up session (3-4:30pm) also at the John L Haar Theatre. Saturday's Breakout sessions are in classrooms on 4th Floor. Maps, programs and volunteers will all be there to assist you.
What Happens Next? The Future of Story will explore and examine issues that affect the future of storytelling and narrative at a time when the literary landscape is shifting and traditional story forms are struggling to stay current.
Friday evening, February 5:
Corus Entertainment Distinguished Lecturer Hart Hanson, the Gemini Award-winning Canadian film and television writer and producer and creator of the long-running Fox Television series Bones, will set the stage for the conference with a discussion about storytelling for a mass audience.
All-day Saturday, February 6:
Hear the thoughts of some of Alberta’s literary and creative stars in panel discussions on issues that affect The Future of Story.
Saturday’s sessions will feature:
