Within the architectural arena of downtown Edmonton, Christopher Armstrong's photos present his perspective of a city that is complex, dynamic, diverse, and perhaps most of all, increasingly (and uncomfortably) central to the global issues of climate change and over-consumption. Inspirations include Anton Corbijn (who professes having a minimal technical knowledge of the camera and who holds fast to the motto of "make it work") and Robert Doisneau (who has professed that his career in photography began with being fired for chronic lateness).

Recent venues that have supported his photographs include the Royal Bison and the Harcourt House Gallery. He currently holds a tenuous "guest" spot on the Edmonton Folk Music Festival's illustrious Photo Crew. All photos are printed on french-milled paper that is museum-grade/extremely archival (e.g., free of optical brighteners and controlled for acidity). All photos are signed and stamped.
