MacEwan University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications

The Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications at MacEwan University encompasses seven unique programs in the fields of performing, visual and communication arts, and arts management.

The Theatre Arts and Theatre Production programs serve as a hothouse for fresh new talent. Every academic year our students work both in the spotlight and behind the scenes to bring you live theatre that entertains, challenges and amuses. Many go on to work across the country, on Broadway and in the West End, Fringe festivals, dinner theatres, television, film and cruise ship entertainment.

Jazz, rock, pop, metal, blues, soul, country, electronica, hip hop: if you sing, play, write or record it, we teach it in our Bachelor of Music program. Experience the imagination and energy of Edmonton's emerging music professionals and artists as our students take the stage during the MacEwan Music Season.

The Conservatory of Music at MacEwan University has been enriching musical education in the Edmonton community since 1903. Year-round instruction is offered on all instruments, at all levels, all styles, and for all ages.
