Join the Mill Creek Colliery Band for their presentation of A Festive Celebration on December 11, 2021 at 7:30 PM, at All Saints' Anglican Cathedral, 10035 103 Street NW.
Edmonton's own 28-piece, British-style brass band will present a musical feast of seasonal and festive favorites. Selections will include the snappy march, Christmas Joy; a unique arrangement of Veni Immanuel; a Bolero-like rendition of Little Drummer Boy; a beautiful arrangement of Greensleeves, featuring the horn section; a German winter waltz Schneewalzer; and a suite of four dances from Tchaikovsky’s seasonal classic ‘The Nutcracker’. Julien Simard will demonstrate the heights and depths of the range of the bass trombone in Frosty the Snowman and Michael Eastep (E-flat bass) will be featured in I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas. The band will be led by principal conductor, David Hoyt.

No physical or electronic tickets will be provided.You will need to provide your order confirmation at the door.
The Mill Creek Colliery Band is implementing the Restrictions Exemption Program, meaning proof of vaccination with QR code, or a negative rapid test taken within 72 hours will be required at the door for all patrons aged 12 years and older no exceptions. There will also be various safety protocols in place and must be respected for the duration of the performance. The duration of the concert will be 75-80 minutes and there will be no intermission. As usual, Mill Creek Colliery Band will have their ever-popular door prize draw.
