Edmonton’s Greenwood Singers presents The Many Moods of Christmas at First Presbyterian Church (10025 - 105 St NW) on Monday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Edmonton’s Greenwood Singers under the direction of Robert de Frece, launch their 38th season with their annual presentation of The Many Moods of Christmas. The choir will be joined by the University of Alberta Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers, organist Marnie Giesbrecht, pianist Helen Stuart, bassist Jeff Johnson and percussionist Murray Smith.

The program will include sacred works spanning five centuries, three a cappella Christmas carol arrangements by Ola Gjielo, carol arrangements with organ and piano accompaniment by Mack Wilberg, and settings of popular Christmas songs with rhythm section. The program will also include the lively music making of the University of Alberta Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers, playing 75 English handbells and 56 handchimes.

Tickets are $20 for Adults and $18 for Students/Seniors (plus applicable service fees).
